Disneyland 2016

  

  We drove the old highway route down to Disneyland and Josh and I were expecting flat boring land, but it turned out to be quite a nice drive.  I feel very grateful that my family was able to drive across God's beautiful landscape and that we were able to enjoy a some great times together.  The best part about Disneyland is how inspiring it is. It reminds me to dream big and reach for the stars.  It reminds me what it is like to be a kid again and I love being around the magic of it all! We had a wonderful time on this trip. The weather was nice, the crowds were low and everything went rather smoothly. Watch the magic through Audrey's eyes in the video I put together from our trip.

For those who don't know...
Before we went on our Disneyland trip in May, I kept working on trying to win tickets and trips to Disneyland.  AFTER we returned from our trip in May, I found out that I won tickets to Disneyland.  So here is my post from our Disneyland trip last week :)


I had a $50 hotel gift certificate and a free night for Hotel Menage which is right behind Disneyland. They had an awesome pool and the best view of the park fireworks.  The way the hotel is set up, makes the fireworks so loud that many car alarms would go off in the parking lot! Never have I heard fireworks so loud, Josh and I thought someone was shooting nearby or bombs were going off when an unscheduled firework show went off at Disneyland.

Since many of the rides are in the dark, we couldn't get any good film footage on them, so I couldn't include most of the rides we went on.

We left from Idaho Falls and we ended up missing our second plane because the our first plane had to be deiced.  When we got to Orlando we ate at Jack's Place, which was the best fine dining I have ever had!

Florida is Beautiful.  Lots of plants, animals, and water.  But boy is it humid!

Hogwarts was AMAZING!! Even though the line was long, the line was just as cool as the ride itself! They really make you feel like you are in hogwarts!

We had such a fun time on this trip! It was CRAZY fun! We got to know so many good people and it was so awesome to learn about and experience different cultures and lifestyles. Being on the cruise was like getting a taste of what it is like to be weathly... the service was amazing.  We could go to any show or class and eat anything at anytime anywhere and they took care of everything.  Only problem was I got pretty seasick the first day.

Coming home was not as nice.  Josh and I didn't get to sit by each other on either flight between orlando and denver.  Our plane had minor problems so we were stuck sitting in that cramped hot and humid space longer (they put me and josh in middle seats) while they fixed the problem.  Our second flight to Idaho Falls was almost an hour delayed because of the deicing. We were missing Audrey like CRAZY so this was very hard for us.  But we made it back, and it is nice to be home with Audrey again.
