Princess Party

 It's hard to remember to take photos in the moment, but Audrey really enjoyed her princess party this year.  She had a few friends show up and all of her girl cousins came.  They played kiss the girl (throwing hershey's kisses to land on Ariel), don't let the rose fall (keep in the rose balloon in the air-from beauty and the beast), tiara toss, and pin the jewel on the crown.  She talks about turning 4 all the time and she looks forward to turning 5.

I cannot believe how fast time flies! Here are some cute and funny things that Audrey has said and done this year:

She was playing on the Carls Jr playground with another girl she just met and the girl said, "I'm wearing a dress" and Audrey responds, "Yea, you look beautiful!"

A little girl came up and pushed Audrey.  Audrey pushed her back and yelled "Don't push me!"

She has a really pretty blue dress that she calls her Elsa dress. She wore it to church and walked around telling everybody about her pretty Elsa dress.

She corrects you if you talk about her Anna and Elsa dolls by saying "No, it's QUEEN Elsa and PRINCESS Anna".

She calls Josh Sweetie and Honey.

She loves to put "pretties" on (make-up like lip gloss and use my powder brushes, and also hair bands and hair decor)

 She loves to do everything herself.  She likes to pick out her clothes and dress herself.  She likes to put her shoes on. She likes to peel her own oranges and bananas.

She loves bossing and chasing Scooter around.

She is always asks if you are ok after you sneeze or cough, and she likes to  tell you "great job" after you do certain things. She likes loves and says "I wanna hold you".

She is a social butterfly.  When she hears other kids she says "I hear my friends". She makes friends with any kid, any age who will play with her and even those who don't.

She loves to sing and dance when she thinks no one is looking, but if you sing and dance she will demand that you stop by saying, "stop singing right now!".

She loves to talk.  She points out everything, asks questions about everything, and repeats everything.  She says 'please', 'thank you' and 'you're welcome'.

She loves to scream and be loud.and she has the most infectious laugh.

She loves to hide under blankets and she loves to play around on the tablet.

Since we put the Christmas Tree up, she always wants the lights on and she talks about how beautiful it is.

She refuses to potty train so we are always telling her about how everyone around her uses the potty ("Grandma uses the potty, she doesn't wear diapers") and one day she told us, "Cinderella wears diapers, she doesn't use the potty".

We just barely got her to go poo poo in the potty though (it was a one time thing).  Her face was turning pink and she told me "My poo poo is moving" so I asked her to go in the potty and naturally she said no.  I bribed her with candy and she decided she would sit on the potty but told me to get out of the bathroom.  I left and I heard her yell, "Mommy, there is poo poo in the potty!"  it was pretty exciting!

She loves to give and receive hugs and kisses, and she will ask for them at times and she will even hug me and say, "I love you mommy".  She is such a sweet and beautiful girl and I love her SO much!

2 Special Birthday Girls

On Monday our little girl turned 2! We now have a little toddler, I can't believe it!
Audrey was able to celebrate her birthday the weekend before with her Aunt Christy (my awesome and amazingly beautiful older sister) .  She loves to see her cousins and had a great time with them.

This year for Josh's birthday we went to Garden City, Utah and I forgot my camera so I don't have any pictures.   While we were there we saw the show 'Who Shot Juanito Bandito' which is seriously one of the funniest shows I have ever seen.  We got to enjoy a great big Raspberry shake (which Bear Lake is known for), we Played some games of Miniature Golf, we roasted smores over the fire, we tried to get into the lake but the beaches were closed off due to the lake being overfull and rentals being completely rented, but mostly we just relaxed and had a good time together.
