This is our house right before & after we started our projects for the move

It was going to cost us $43 for each set of cheap shutters at Lowes, but it only cost $16 per set for a  DIY wood shutter.  All three windows would have cost $129 (without tax), but instead only cost $48 and I like the wood better than the regular plastic ones. Josh did a great job putting them together and hanging them up.  It was seriously scary for both Josh and I to put the shutters up on the upstairs window with only a 17' ladder.  Josh did it, but I stood below stressing about losing a husband over some wood shutters. If it weren't for Josh's persistence in doing it, I would have just done without them! (glad it's over!)

When I went to the store to find a good accent wreath for the door, I had a hard time finding one that didn't look too cheap for my cheap budget.  I saw the wreath below, but I would never pay that much for one 26" piece of decor. So I found some supplies at the DI for only a few dollars and made my own version.

I found a fall wreath (only $1) with the stick looking background and took off all the fall stuff. I bought some nice looking green leaves for 50 cents and added some more stick/berry looking stuff and I think it came out looking quite nice!

Updates

Audrey in her new coat from her Grandma :) She says and does the funniest little things.  She loves playing with dolls and she loves to sing. She is loving the independence that comes with growing up; she likes to pick out and put on her clothes, she loves her new booster car seat so she can unbuckle her own seat belt and her big girl bed that she can get out of by herself. Her hair is actually long enough to style a little bit and I am lovin it!  Love that Audrey Podrey Pants (although when I add the pants part she always says, "No, I not").

Josh and I are both going to school right now and we are both projected to graduate after this fall semester; Josh will be graduating with a bachelor degree in political science and I will only be getting my associate degree in general studies.  Josh is planning on continuing and getting a masters degree in Public Administration at BSU and I am still deciding on finishing my 4 year degree (it's just been hard to do school with miss Audrey). Full-time work and school monopolize all of Josh's time, and I am keeping busy taking pictures on the side of school and Audrey.

And here is my dad's awesome ALS Ice Bucket challenge course :) My dad is super creative and never likes to do things the easy way as shown in the video.

My Mom: with her steady hand painted much the the trim around the doors and windows and also helped watch Audrey on Monday so we could finish.
Jordan: Watched Audrey almost all day Saturday so we could paint with my mom and Celeste.
Celeste: Helped paint with us on Saturday.
Josh: Got all the high spots that no one else could reach

We finished the house in two days thanks to the help we received!!!

Small side projects:

Using gold spray paint and things I already had from the DI I changed the wall decor above my vanity. 

Here I redecorated the Laundry room using some DI frames, paint and some printed signs.  I also saw a really cute wall hanger at Ross and bought it to hang the ironing board.
